LongShot Racing
is about setting your sights above and beyond the
expectations of yourself and those who support you, thus
leaving no other choice but to beat the odds.
Are You Capable
of Beating the Odds?
Everyone is capable of beating
the odds, but for most racers, their chances are slim.
The majority of racers I come in contact with are trying
to figure out if they have "IT", what it takes to become
a winner. The truth is, we all have "IT"; however, the
question is will we mold our perception so that we can
access "IT". Success is not found, it is created by
experiences and information that move our belief beyond
where we have been before. "IT" is revealed when we have
accumulated enough experiences and information that move
our belief to new levels.
The challenge of life is to
stop looking for secrets that do not exist and start
molding the clay that we are. Success comes from the
inside, not the outside. We have all been given the
greatest power on earth, the power to choose how we
"see" ourselves and the world we live in. Changing how
we “see” these two things can change the way our entire
life unfolds. Too many lives are wasted and fortunes
surrendered searching for some grand secret to success,
when all that is really needed is to mold our perception
into any masterpiece that we wish.
Molding our perception is a
transformation that takes time and serious effort. It
requires changing what we believe is possible. As it can
be very challenging to change your beliefs on your own,
having access to great coaching and support systems are
extremely valuable.
I have been amazed how coaches,
like Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots, can
take athletes, whose college careers were mediocre at
best, and mold them into superstars. Creating
achievement is more than just putting athletes through a
system of actions. Success or failure is determined by
the perception created by those who teach the actions of
a great system. Great coaches do not simply tell
athletes how to perform better, they create situations
that allow the athletes to personally experience how
much better they can perform. Success is all about
perception.
I have been studying coaches
like Bill Belichick for the past eight years and
challenging myself to develop a way of coaching that
allows racers to perceive beyond where they have been
before. I have developed, with the help of some very
open-minded racers, a unique training program. This
program allows us to coach racers on how to mold the
"IT" that we are all born with.
Through the results of our
students, I am convinced that everyone is capable of
beating the odds; however, do not assume this will
happen overnight. Beating the odds is a transformation
with a lot of ups and downs that will definitely test
your desire. On the upside, this transformation will not
only allow you to achieve the results you desire on the
track, but will also give you the ability to achieve the
results you desire in all areas of your life.
